STEVE MIX

CLASS of 1965

    Steve Mix is a 1965 graduate of Rogers High School where he was All-Great Lakes League and Most Valuable Player.

            At the University of Toledo, Steve established six-career and three-season basketball records, was All Mid-American Conference for three seasons, the league’s first player of the year, and a Naismith All-American.

            At the University of Toledo, Steve scored 1,676 points in 73 college games, a 22.9 average.  After that, Steve played 13 seasons in the National Basketball Association, including nine years with the Philadelphia 76ers, as well as with the Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks and the Los Angeles Lakers before retiring after the 1982-83 season.  In his pro career, Steve scored more than 8,000 points.
