Ken Swartz

    Ken Swartz is a 1966 graduate of Rogers High School.  Ken was a two-time Number One Singles Great Lakes Tennis Champion and represented Rogers High School in three Ohio State High School Tennis Championships.

    In his senior year, Ken was the Toledo Sectional and Northwestern Ohio District Tennis Champion.  In addition, Ken was also an Ohio State Semi-finalist.

    At the University of Toledo, Ken was undefeated as a freshman.  Ken was also the Freshman Division Champion at the Eastern Intercollegiate Tennis Championships in Hamilton, New York.

    Ken led the University of Toledo Tennis Team to three consecutive Mid-American Conference Championships.  He was a two-time Number One Singles and three-time Doubles Mid-American Conference Champion.  In his senior year, Ken was the Ohio Intercollegiate Singles and Doubles Champion.  Ken represented the University of Toledo in three NCAA Championships.

    After graduating from the University of Toledo, Ken continued to compete in local, state and national tournaments.  Ken was a six-time Toledo City Doubles Champion.  He was ranked Number One in Doubles in the Western Tennis Association which includes Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana and Illinois.  In 1984, Ken was inducted into the University of Toledo Athletic Hall of Fame and in 1985, he was inducted into the Toledo City Athletic League Hall of Fame.

    Ken and his wife Gini have two daughters, Becky and Katie.
